Unfortunately for me there is a downside to fruits - I am highly reactive to the sugar. I have found a highly successful work around in supplements that retain the live enzymes, but remove the sugar. Green veggies are no problem and I use both fresh live raw and live powdered greens as my main foods. I choose a wide variety of veggies and am thriving because I have cut out refined foods. I also do a lot of sprouting now, but even before I got into that I just didn't have time to fix any of my old foods. I love becoming a raw foodist.
