Today, I’m asking a simple question…
“What are you biggest healthy eating challenges?”
I want to know what you struggle with when it comes to eating raw or eating well in general.
The reason I’m looking for your input is that I want to help you. I want to get your questions answered and put together some strategies that will hopefully help you overcome those challenges that are holding you back.
So go ahead and leave a comment with your healthy eating challenges…

I have tried going raw twice now and cannot survive it for more than a week and a half. Even though I would eat 3 big meals and snacked in between, I felt very low energy-wise after about day 3. I’m not sure why since I was never going hungry and most people report a surge in energy when eating raw.
My other problem on the raw diet is shockingly, constipation. I thought eating fruits and vegetables would have the opposite effect on my body but sure enough, I went several days without a bowel movement, despite drinking plenty of water (8 to 10 cups a day!).
Wondering if you have any tips or know some changes I could make that would remedy these two things because I would really like to do a raw cleanse that lasts more than 2 weeks!
Aside from raw food, staying away from sugary foods can be challenging!
Thanks!
My biggest challenges are sugar and eating at night. I always get a sweet tooth AFTER dinner, like it’s not dinner until I had my dessert, what is up with that?
Sugary foods are my nightmare !
For me it’s an ‘ALL or NOTHING’ scenario. If there is anything in the house I get mad cravings and want to, and sometimes do, eat the lot! Then of course I suffer from sugar crashes a little later. I really wish I could overcome this addiction.
It’s the grocery shopping. I’m used to going grocery shopping once or maybe twice every two weeks. Eating raw seems to require going to the store every few or every other day.
I’ll buy veggies but then the next day for dinner I won’t feel like eating the veggies I bought the day before. I’ll want something else. The veggies get old and I throw them away.
I end up eating something from a can or something I can microwave. I hate going to the grocery store every few days.
If I could find about 6 -8 things that I wouldn’t get tired of eating and that would be quick to prepare I think I would be ok, otherwise I’ll eat something that is not good just to save myself the time that it would take to go to the store and buy something that I probably won’t feel like eating the next day.
