Living On Live Foods is Not Just A Dream-It is a Life Choice

images (1)How do you choose to live a dream? You need a vision. You need a plan. And, finally you need to take action.

Having the right “mindset” when your brain is in a haze, often seems to cloud and overshadow what is important and what is not. Your Dreams needs to be clear. You need to believe it is attainable and you need to write it down and take pictures in your mind(real ones too) to be able to visualize them everyday.

When I was eating Big Mac’s to survive my mind was focused, more often than not, on just getting through the day and on to sleep mode. I now realize that it was my eating habits that where hindering my mindset. It was not my dreams, it was not my desire, is was not my will to get things done, it was what I was eating.

Eating dead food all day long was not my intention. It was all I knew how to do. I had no direction, no eating plan, no coach to mentor my way to seemingly impossible good health. Eating dead foods meant I was dead, just waiting to be buried. Isn’t that an incredible truth?

Living on live foods perked my energy level up a notch and got my motor into gear. It gave my body the tune up it needed to liberate my mindset to start working on all those dreams I had.

Having the right “mindset” is impossible if you are not Eating For Energy. I repeat, having the right “mindset” is impossible if you are not  Eating For Energy!

Learning how to live on live foods is a wake up call. It is a warning signal. It is the engine light turning on “Red” not yellow.

How you do it, what are the right foods for you, how you adapt it to your lifestyle, how you find the ways to eat right on the road, on holiday’s, at the bosses party, at uncle John’s barbecue… becomes perfectly clear to you but, only if your “mindset” is free of the cobwebs that have been holding it together for so long.

When your mindset changes, your attitude changes, and when that changes for the better, nothing is impossible, including obtaining the health we desire. This drive I have to eat the best I can and be the best I can is what keeps me motivated every single morning I get out of bed – at a considerably earlier time than I used to :)

    Hi Yuri,

In terms of food combining, you say that it is beneficial for the digestion of foods, however, the recipes in your book do not follow the food combining principles you outline. I want to know if you think we should follow food combining vs following the recipes in your book (for example, mixing fruits with other foods or combining starches with nuts).

This question leads me to the next one, in which I want to know if you find that eating for stabilizing blood sugar levels is better than food combining (for example, eating fruit on their own would spike blood sugar levels).

Do you think that eating more meals per day vs eating fewer meals per day is more beneficial in terms of detoxification and energy levels. I have read that the more rest you give to your digestive system through fewer meals the more energy goes into repairing bodily functions vs spending that energy on digesting the foods. Isn’t this a little bit of a contradiction, since less meals would equal more blood sugar spikes??

As you can see, all the info I’ve got has got two totally different approaches.

I would also like to know how taking supplements such as Omega-3s, Digestive, enzymes, probiotics, and some Bs throughout different times of the day affects the body.

I would really appreciate your insight!!

      Hey Tammy,

Essentially you have to do what works best for your body. For instance, you might feel that combining proteins + carbs works better for you and keeps your blood sugar levels more stable. However, others (myself) included find that following stricter food combining principles is better for digestion and energy levels.

Theoretically, combining protein + carbs would be better for stabilizing blood sugar. However, if you don’t have any blood sugar issues, not doing that, doesn’t make that big a difference – I find at least.

Regarding the supplements, it doesn’t really matter at what point of the day you take them. Ideally enzymes should be taken with food. Vitamin B preferably in the earlier part of the day.

  3. weight loss is easy to achieve if you just do some heavy workouts and a strict diet`..

      Hi Caitlin,
Thanks for your comment. I have a question for you. If weight loss is as easy to achieve as you say, why is the world being over-run with obesity? That is the question I asked myself when I realized that exercising and a strict diet were not the solution.
      Please give me your thoughts?
      Thanks again,
