Eating For Energy-Establishing A Routine Of Perfect Health

March 6th, 2011

Many of us wander from poor health to great health on a regular basis. Why do we need to follow a model?

Over time, we all get into a rut and refuse to admit that we need help.

Over the years, Pierrette & I have always had Yuri to fall back on. Whether you like him or not is not so important. The messages of healthy good news should be enough for you to embrace the need of having a routine to fall back on.

Establishing a routine of Perfect Health should be a goal we all embrace.

  1. If you are just looking to eat healthy, Yuri has all the solutions in Eating For Energy.
  2. If you want to get physical, we know that he is a pro.
  3. If you want professional advice on training or routines, again where else can you get the help he offers?
  4. Simply want advice and being able to communicate your fears and emotions? Again he is here for you, day in and day out.

All you facebook fans, awake and spread the good news. Eating for Energy and all the other programs Yuri works so hard to share with us, is worth the Perfect Health we all seek. Sharing this with others is our way of saying “Thank You Yuri” for being here when we need you.

Please tell us what you think about Eating For Energy. We use most of the tools Yuri suggests and we feel 100% better now than before we started learning from him.

Sure we fall of the bandwagon once in awhile but we always remember our roots. Being here is not being lucky. Being here is a gift we all have received. Coming back to it when we need to means that we understand the importance of being in good health.

The reason I write this article is to let you all know how I feel about my health.

No matter what I do wrong from now on, I have a routine that I follow and it helps me stay on track.

People tell me how good I look and that good health radiates from my smile and how I talk about it. That makes me feel great. Yes I do have Pizza and french fries, so what. I am human and I am in control of “me”.

All the benefits of having a routine to follow and share with others has been very important to me. How can you deny good health once you have lived it? You cannot.

Please join Pierrette & I and all our Thee Quest For Perfect Health team in saying, “Thanks Yuri”, you have and continue to be a real important person in our lives.

If you read this and have not read the “Eating For Energy” guide to great health, then what are you waiting for?

Why You Must Be Selective When Seeking Help To Improve Your Health.

October 16th, 2010

unwellNow this might sound like a funny question, but would you take financial advice from somebody who is broke?

I’m thinking your answer is “no”, but so often we take health advice from people who aren’t really qualified to do so.

What do I mean by this? Well if your doctor doesn’t look healthy – then run the opposite direction!

Because unfortunately there are many medical practitioners out there that aren’t healthy themselves and a lot of it has to do with the fact that they haven’t really studied nutrition.

Unlike Yuri Elkaim – author of ‘Eating for Energy’, not only does Yuri know his stuff when it comes to health and nutrition, but he RADIATES good health. He quite simply ‘walks the talk’.

Now I don’t know about you but I would much rather take health advice from Yuri than a tired, overweight doctor. ‘Success leaves clues’ – and this is definitely a big one.

Of course you should also become an avid reader of health and nutrition yourself. Keep up-to-date with the latest information and educate yourself.

But for many people, health advice is often sought from the wrong people.

And here’s another important point. Where else do you seek information on health? From the TV, magazines, from companies selling you a product?

Because if a company is going to tell you that their product is good for you, then you have to ask yourself – is this a public service announcement or is this company just trying to sell me their product?

Any time a company is selling you a product, and telling you how great it is – you really should be putting those critical thinking glasses on.

So when it comes to finding ways to improve your health, don’t take advice from people who aren’t healthy. And certainly don’t take advice from anybody who is trying to sell you a product without asking them a lot of questions first!

Look for people like Yuri. If they look and feel healthy, then I think we can all learn a thing or two from them.

Kind regards,

Audra Starkey

Eating For Energy-Defining My Passion

October 13th, 2010

When I was just a boy I loved to play Hockey. You all know that Canadians are all about Hockey?

I suffered from asthma and my abilities to play the game were never diminished because of my asthma but the pain I had, was always there. If you suffer from asthma, you know what I am talking about.

From the age of 6 or 7 my Passion for hockey followed me everywhere. I would get up at 2 am to get ready, would put on my uniform  and  skate the one mile to get to the arena. I would leave before the sun came up just to go and play my favorite game. Some mornings the wind would howl and the snow would fall but my Passion never  wavered. I remember those days like they were yesterday.

All through high school I played my favorite game and only gave up on my dream to play any longer because of  the poor condition of my lungs. Little did my family or I know that eating was so important for my health.

Yesterday, I spent 1.5 hours on the ice playing hockey with 20 year olds and never got off the ice once. I had tremendous energy. The feelings of exhilaration rushed through my veins.I wish you could of all been there. For me, it was like being in the Olympics. I had never dreamed of ever being able to relive the childhood passion I always had in my heart. Have you ever had that feeling? The Passion I am talking about?

Eating For Energy-Defining My Passion: Having Passion in your heart is the only element you need to motivate you to get healthy. Passion for your life.

Today I am 58 years young and because of Eating For Energy, changing my lifestyle, and believing in me, I am able to live those Dreams I never thought possible, up until just a few years ago.

Yuri talks about his love of soccer and you can feel the emotions in his heart when he talks about it. Having found the solutions to his health problems made him determined to never let his dreams waiver.

Pierrette & I decided to follow his advice. Having followed Eating For Energy principles, I urge you all to read and follow the principles covered in Eating For Energy and to find that Passion I talk about with such zest. It is in you I am sure. Follow us and live the life you have always dreamed Passionately about.

Are you ready to find the Passion in your life?

Are you willing to give yourself that chance?

How important is your life? Important enough to never give up?

When I started to follow Yuri, all I did was take a chance and took the six day free info for a ride. Everyday I learned something new. Yes, something I did not know but should have? Everyday I got more and more determined to learn how to help myself.

I did not need another preacher telling me things I already knew. I was on a path to nowhere leaning towards uncertainty but still full of hope and desire. I had taken the decision to try one last time. At 57,  the years were becoming heavy to carry. My life partner and I  both needed to commit to finding solutions that had so far eluded us.

How important is your health to you?

  1. Incredible as it might seem, your health does not seem to be important enough to want to find what is so terribly wrong?
  2. Often facing the truth can be overwhelming.
  3. Finding out truths that have been kept from us is maddening.

Every time you come to this blog you will see a pop-up telling you to get this 6-day free report. That is how I started and every-time it pops up I am reminded of what it has done to help me take the steps I needed to get to a much healthier and fulfilling life.

Unlocking The Key To Weight Loss – A Surprisingly Simple Tip.

October 4th, 2010

keyNow you don’t have to be Albert Einstein to realise that diets in most developed countries around the world today have become nothing short of diabolical. We have quite simply evolved into an overweight, fast food, soft drink-guzzling race.

But besides eating healthy and moving your body, there is also a surprisingly simple tip that is going to help you to lose weight.

And it’s called eating slowly.

Often we’re so busy that we just don’t take time to eat slowly. And putting food in our mouth forms only a very small part of the actual eating process.

Eating slowly is essential to good health. Why? Because if you eat in a hurry or grab a quick snack on the run you are compromising both your choice of food (it’s nutritional value) and your ability to digest it.

If your job is quite demanding and stressful, you can sometimes feel compelled to eat in a hurry which actually sends a message to your brain to slow down the digestion process. As a result, that hurriedly chewed food sits in your stomach and intestines weighing you down, making you feel sluggish and reducing your energy levels.

A lot of people today are also prone to experiencing digestive problems because of the erratic times that they eat, so when you combine this with eating in a hurry – then you are more likely to fall victim to this rather unpleasant ailment.

You see digestive problems are aggravated when you eat in a rush and fail to chew food properly. The stomach has to attempt to digest large chunks of food, which requires much more effort by your body. Your saliva contains digestive enzymes which are mixed with the food in your mouth, but only if you chew the food properly. If the food has not been broken down by chewing (from eating in a hurry), then it will just sit in your stomach until it can be broken down further.

Just like Yuri explains in his book – Eating for Energy, this process uses a lot of extra digestive enzymes and energy which makes you feel sluggish – not good if you are already feeling severely tired and exhausted.

So the key to losing weight is to eat a lot more RAW food, move your body AND to eat slowly.

Try and take the time to relax a little before you eat. Even take a few deep breaths beforehand and in between each mouthful. This is what eating is all about – savouring the tastes and enjoying your food.

To Your Good Health,

Audra Starkey
